Really enjoyed the accommodations and especially the water pressure in the master bedroom shower. It is not far off the highway. Ideal location for a weekend getaway when visiting Aspen, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. Will definitely book again.

The house was ideal for the two of us, but would easily accommodate four, as well. Comfortable bed, large washer/dryer and the other appliances are all relatively new. Great deck with unobstructed views of Mt. Sopris. As others have noted, definite road noise, but the windows and doors effectively shut it out. We liked the proximity to Carbondale and, as avid bicyclists, the Glenwood City-to-Aspen bike path.

This is a fantastic spot! It looked exactly like the photos and was super clean. The linens and towels were nice and the kitchen was very clean and well stocked. The view on the deck of the valley and Mt Sopris is gorgeous. You can hear some road noise from hwy 82 below, but the view is so beautiful it?s ok. Beautiful view of the area and Sopris. Private and beautiful property, would definitely rebooks down the road. Yes, you can hear the highway below, but that is the price of a house next the highway - close the doors/windows and bring a white noise machine or pull out one of the fans they provide. You are central to so many beautiful places, which is another major plus and the biggest reason we decided on this location. LOVED the view! Convenient location, although as other reviewers said, be aware of noise. Wasn't a real issue for us with music on during the day and white noise at night, but the deck is loud. Home was nice and clean with plenty of supplies. Could have probably used some upgrades/new pots and pans, but didn't really cook so wasn't big deal. Enjoyed our stay and the pup really enjoyed the deck!

Cozy little cabin like feel with modern comfort, and amazing views! My family stayed here while I was on a work trip in the area, and they loved it! Lots of board games and big a deck to play outside on. One small suggestion as someone with toddlers that get into everything is put some child locks on the cabinet doors under the sink where there is detergent pods for the dishwasher. Not the end of the world but would be helpful.

The Sopris Sundeck was perfect for our family. We loved the privacy, convenient location, wildlife, and the view from every room is beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed if we wanted to cook and restaurants were close by if we choice to eat out. The host was great and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. This house worked great for us (2 adults and 2 small kids). It was close to all of the things we wanted to do. It was very clean. The views are spectacular and just what we wanted. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. They were short on kitchen towels and pot holders which they think went missing. They were going to re-stock those items. You do have to take a flight of stone steps from where you park to where you stay. So guests with mobility issues might have problems. My only observation was road

We loved our stay at the Sopris Sundeck. The view was iconic and the house itself was clean, comfortable, and everything we needed for a mountain getaway. The drive into Aspen/Snowmass was about 30-40 minutes and only 5-10 into Carbondale. Plenty to do in the area and a wonderful house to come back to after a long day exploring!

My family and two dogs stayed here for the local sheepdog trial. The location is private yet 5 mins to downtown Carbondale, 10 mins to the dog trial, and 20 mins to Glenwood. First, the road to the house is a steep, twisty, single-vehicle road with a narrow driveway, so it requires some very careful driving to access with some driving in reverse when another vehicle approaches. We were so surprised by how beautiful this place was when we first pulled up! It was a perfect snowy winter day and we had a stunning view of Mount Sopris directly from every window in the house. It was clean, cozy, and the perfect size for 3 people, especially because there are two full sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It was an easy 40 min drive to Aspen, where we were spending some time. We had a great time here! The house is located close to grocery stores, downtown Carbondale and a nice big park that was so great for our pup! I knew that this place was close to the road when I booked, but that is definitely the ONE thing that about this place we wish were different. Excellent stay! What a gorgeous place and perfect location. Place was clean and comfy. Had all of the amenities we needed and host had clear instructions and area guide! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed! Comfortable beds, high ceilings and nicely decorated. The views off the large deck were incredible! Over 180-degree view of the valley with Mt. Sopris the focal point. You get to see the sunrise and sunset all from the deck. The road up to the house is not great but is drivable and we did have a AWD vehicle which helped. We highly recommend this place.

This cabin is amazing. Beautiful inside but the best are the views of the mountains!!! We loved to stay there. Is close to everything, Aspen, Sunlight Snowmobiles, a lot of things to do or just to relax in the cabin. Great view of Mt Sopris. Rental is positioned so you can enjoy privacy. Deck is closed off at both ends so pups are contained (if you have them.) Beds are comfortable. The deck furniture has seen better days (I?m sure the weather has been harsh on it) but still comfortable. For us, the only drawback was the road noise from Hwy 82 ( you only hear it on the deck outside, not inside the house.) Rental is conveniently close to downtown Carbondale, but really a world away from the craziness of it.

Wow! This is a great place just outside of Carbondale. The pictures that you see are completely accurate - if not even better. A perfect place for a small family or a romantic getaway. If you want to explore the area - you're minutes away from Carbondale and Aspen. This place was very nice! The views were AMAZING. We cooked a bunch of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. Grocery store is a couple minutes away. We also used the jetted tub, nice feature. The house is close to the Iron mountain Hot Springs and Adventure Park (which we went to). Great stay with spectacular views! The light sound of traffic from the deck was actually quite relaxing. Quick drive to Aspen, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs for walking around or shopping. We would stay here again and again as it had everything we needed and more!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The views from the back deck are absolutely breathtaking. Although you hear the road noise as other commenters mentioned, it sort of becomes drowned out by the 360 degrees of postcard views surrounding this airbnb. The home was very clean and was well equipped to provide the perfect stay. We will definitely be back.

Cozy cabin style property, convenient location close to nearby ski areas. Our favorite part during the stay is chilling on the patio which provides picture worthy view of the mountains. Just be prepared for a little noise from the highway below during morning rush hours. Overall it is highly recommended!

We loved the Sopris Sundeck. The perfect size for our family of four. We stayed comfortable and cozy during a week of constant snow. Loved the location perched up in the hills but with easy access to downtown Carbondale (better restaurants in my opinion than Aspen) and a good home base from which to venture out to the ski areas down valley. Because of all the snow we were especially appreciative of the complementary snow removal from the steps to the house each morning.

Gorgeous views of Mount Sopris and a nice set-up in the house. The house was clean when I got there and not too hard to find - it's a little 'off the road' so can be tricky at night! There was definitely more road noise than I anticipated but it did quiet down at night so very easy to sleep. There are not a lot of neighbors but the few I ran into were friendly but respected the space. It is a bit odd when you arrive that the car park/drive is under the house next door (maybe the main house?).

Sopris Sundeck was the perfect headquarters for our Roaring Fork vacation. Million dollar views along with plenty of space for a group to spread out. Comfortable mattresses and linens, we used the sofa bed and it was comfy. Yes, you are close to the road but it didn?t affect our appreciation of the outdoor space or the view. The location was excellent for our trips into Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, and the towns on the road to Aspen. The house was well equipped with everything you need to get started on

We had a wonderful weekend! Originally our plans were to head into Glenwood Springs but it was so peaceful and cozy that we spent all of our time out on the deck enjoying the wonderful view and Friday evening gazing at the stars. The home had a fully stocked kitchen so I was able to make my hubby home cooked meals and spoil him the entire stay. We were also able to bring along our elderly dog and didn?t have to worry about the added cost of boarding or finding someone to dog sit. It rained Saturday evening

The Sopris Sundeck was very clean, comfortable and charming! The views were out of this world! Not only that, but there was plenty of outdoor deck space. It is the perfect centralized location to be able to do many activities in the area. The view is incredible, you truly can't beat it. The layout was perfect for our little family. No stairs in the home, which was great for our 2 year old son and 13 yr old lab. Very clean. Updated with quality linenez, etc. The only negative was the highway traffic noise as it is constant when sitting out on the deck, but I would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend to other travelers.

Here for a wedding, Sopris Sundeck was ideal for the four of us. Everything we needed was available and the view is as good as advertised - lots of time spent on deck. Only two hiccups are the location is tricky and one night the smoke detector chirped all night but owners were responsive next day. (Minor detail it?s 30? high or we would have fixed ourselves).. Overall heavy recommendation and will come back again for certain when visiting Carbondale.

This place is fantastic, I?d come again for the views alone! We love Carbondale and the location of this home to Carbondale is perfect. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house which is nice as we traveled with a young baby and she didn?t wake my sister on the opposite bedroom. We would come back.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. The spacious deck allows you to enjoy a phenomenal view of Sopris mtn Whole foods and other supermarkets are super close to get supplies. We were able to gather around the fire place and drink some wine. You do not want to leave the house but we still managed to go out and play near carbondale by the crystal river on hwy 133

This is more than a house - it's an experience that will absolutely take your breath away! The Sopris Sundeck is one that will not disappoint. It's in a remote(ish) location but Brittany's directions are perfect and will get you right there. It's pretty close to town as well so going out to get a bite to eat wasn't a problem. This was such a great romantic getaway. It is close to the highway and there is another residence right above this property. This property is a true AirBnB gem. The 180 degree view of the mountains from the balcony is amazing. We stayed 5 nights and had our evening glass of wine (or two) out there every night.
